One Response to “Literary – April 15”

  1. A sourthern hunk on holiday in Florida lay by the pool. I heard him chatting with a friend in English. Still I asked if he were indeed speaking English. Grinning by the pool, he replied he barely understood me because of my hard Canadian R. He then pursed his lips to pronounce ‘ooot and aboot,’ as all those south of the border think we pronounce ‘out and about.’ Finally, my American adonis suggested we use body language. I’m a translator, I replied.
